The Trocadéro Coffee Table is a sculptural piece by Marika Dru, part of her Trocadéro collection for Atelier MKD.
Its multi-tiered, low-profile form is defined by a prominent top slab and a slightly recessed base, joined on all sides by a distinctive concave curve. This transition between levels gives the table an architectural silhouette, closer to a plinth or a relief than a conventional coffee table.
Crafted from dark reddish-brown polished wood, the surface carries the depth and warmth characteristic of the Trocadéro collection. The high-gloss finish accentuates the grain, revealing tonal variations that shift under different light conditions.
As part of the Trocadéro series, this coffee table reflects Marika Dru's interest in furniture that inhabits space with quiet authority, pieces drawn from the architectural language of Paris and expressed through generous volumes and refined materials.

About
Marika Dru
Marika Dru is an interior designer based in Paris and the founder of Atelier MKD.
She designs timeless spaces that lie at the intersection of a minimalism that is never austere and a classicism infused with lightness and softness.
The architect envisions residential spaces, offices, and showrooms, where each layout is a poetic expression of space, always guided by flow and light.
Inspired by major design figures such as Andrée Putman and Ricardo Bofill, her work invites us to embrace the purity and sophistication of simple materials, which settle naturally into serene settings.
Her TROCADÉRO collection, available on Monde Singulier, translates this sensibility into furniture: rosewood pieces of generous proportion and sculptural silhouette, designed to hold their place in a room.
