The Stele wall lamp is part of studioutte's SOFT SOLID collection, a lighting fixture whose form reads as a drawn line against the wall.
The body is tall and narrow, a vertical rectangle in brushed steel. Two parallel linear elements run within the frame, separated by plexiglass insets. The composition is graphic and spare: the plexiglass diffuses the light source while the brushed metal contains it within strict planar limits. From a distance the fixture looks more like an architectural slot than a lamp.
The Stele family runs across several lighting formats in the SOFT SOLID collection, each built on the same vertical logic and brushed steel vocabulary. The wall version removes the base entirely, mounting directly to the surface and pressing the form flat against the plane of the room.
Developed exclusively for Monde Singulier in a limited edition. The fixture is produced with Italian craftsmen and reflects studioutte's approach of treating lighting as a small architectural object within the interior.
Established in 2020, studioutte is a Milan-based multidisciplinary practice for architecture, interiors and collectible design. The name draws from the German *hütte*, meaning hut or shelter, a word that carries the spirit of the studio's approach.
