Supernova is a low, modular table by Giulio Zizzari composed of three interlocking blocks of dark green marble with prominent white veining.
The construction is the piece's central idea: two rectangular blocks sit atop a wider central base block, the three sections fitting together with a logic that suggests assembly without screws, joints, or hardware. The rounded corners of each block soften what might otherwise read as pure industrial geometry, and the interlocking arrangement gives the piece an internal movement: furniture as spatial puzzle. The white veining in the dark green stone runs across all three sections, connecting the separate blocks visually even as their geometry keeps them distinct.
Within the Urano collection, Supernova is the most grounded and horizontal presence. Where Titano and Eros rise vertically and Vega extends laterally, Supernova settles low and wide, anchoring the room.
Named for the most violent stellar event in the known universe, the piece carries that name with quiet contradiction: it is heavy, still, and enduring.

About
Giulio Zizzari
Giulio Zizzari (b. 1996) is an Italian designer driven by form, material, and presence. His practice moves between collectible design, architecture, and image-making, where objects, spaces, and visual narratives are conceived with the same sculptural sensibility.
"Giulio Zizzari" is dedicated to collectible design, creating sculptural furniture and objects through both singular pieces and limited series. Alongside this, he develops architectural projects, approaching space as a physical and material composition. "StudioGZ" is a 3D visualization and creative direction studio specialized in photorealistic imagery and animation for architecture and design, acting as a bridge between concept, vision, and representation.
Through both practices, Giulio Zizzari investigates the relationship between the real and the virtual, using design, architecture, and image as interconnected tools to give form to matter, space, and imagination.
Works by Giulio Zizzari are available through Monde Singulier.
