Urano
By Giulio Zizzari
About the collection
The Urano collection is named for the seventh planet. Cold, axially tilted, discovered by telescope: Uranus was the first body added to the solar system by instrument rather than observation alone. Five pieces share that sensibility: Titano, Vega, Nova, Eros, Supernova. Each is named for a body in space. Each is conceived as a monolithic element capable of holding a room without filling it.
Giulio Zizzari works at the intersection of collectible design and architectural visualization. The Urano pieces carry both influences: sculptural volumes that function as furniture but read as objects, forms that require space rather than merely occupying it. Bold geometry, solid mass, unambiguous proportions.
Verde Alpi marble appears throughout the collection. The stone is dark green with white and gold veining, its geological depth present in every surface. Against it: black lacquered wood in gloss and matte finishes, and deep-toned chenille where seating enters. Three materials, one consistent register.
Urano is exclusive to Monde Singulier.
