The Odeon 2 is a two-seat sofa from the Intermezzo collection, a collaborative work between De Troupe and Studioutte.
Part of the Odeon seating family, the piece shares the same structural language as the Odeon L: a low-profile form with upholstered seating and a dark lacquered frame that wraps the cushioned elements with a subtle reflective edge. The proportions are deliberate, keeping the silhouette close to the floor and the overall form compact without sacrificing material generosity.
The upholstery is in warm, textured textile, and the contrast between the soft seating surfaces and the hard dark frame defines the piece's visual character. This opposition between material types is consistent across the Intermezzo collection, which pairs domestic comfort with industrial precision.
Like all pieces in the Intermezzo collection, the Odeon 2 is made to order as part of the De Troupe and Studioutte collaboration.

About
De Troupe
Gabriel Abraham founded Atelier de Troupe in Los Angeles in 2011, drawing on fifteen years as a production designer for film and television. Born in Switzerland and raised in Aix-en-Provence, Abraham moved to Los Angeles in 1995. His transition into object design began in the Schindler-designed Bubeshko Apartments, where he started building lamps to complement the modernist interior. That origin tells you everything about his approach: the studio conceives each piece like a film set, building atmosphere before committing to form.
The aesthetic draws from Bauhaus minimalism, French Art Deco, and the cinematic design of 1960s Italy. Working with brass, bronze, hand-blown glass, and steel, Abraham produces lighting and furniture made to order in the studio's 4,500-square-foot atelier in West Adams, each piece built by artisans based in Los Angeles.
Signature series such as the Pedregal collection, worked in glazed lava stone and wood inspired by Mexican modernist architecture, and the Empire lighting series, presented at Milan Design Week, illustrate the studio's formal range. Selected as a Rising Talent at Maison&Objet Paris in 2019, Atelier de Troupe has earned recognition across the collectible design field for its luxury handcrafted lighting and furniture.
On Monde Singulier, the studio's pieces are available made to order for collectors drawn to objects where material precision and cinematic atmosphere converge.
