Gabriel Abraham founded De Troupe in 2012, drawing on his rich experience as a production designer in Paris, London and his current home of Los Angeles. His years creating visual narratives for film and TV commercials evolved into a deeper exploration of design history, where architecture and cinema converge to shape the studio's distinctive aesthetic. De Troupe's approach is rooted in curiosity and careful study. We examine how cultural movements and environmental considerations have shaped design across different eras, allowing these ideas to inform our creative process. This foundation of research and understanding allows us to develop collections that tell compelling stories through form, material and purpose. From client collaborations to studio designs, we apply the same thoughtful process and attention to detail to everything we create.
