The story
The Torre side table M is part of studioutte's SOFT SOLID collection, a compact sculptural table whose presence comes entirely from the base.
The top is a simple square slab, spare and unobtrusive. Below it, the base is built from vertical rectangular columns of varying depths, stacked and offset to create a stepped geometric tower. The progression of forms gives the piece an architectural quality, closer to a structural section or a stele than to conventional table construction.
This version is in burl wood veneer, the stepped columns rendered in the same material as the top, so the piece reads as a single coherent object. Developed exclusively for Monde Singulier, Torre M is the medium-format version of the tower-base table in the SOFT SOLID range. studioutte works with craftsmen in Padova for wood production; the burl wood figuring varies across each table, and the geometric form allows the material's natural patterning to register clearly against the clean linear structure.

About Studioutte
Established in 2020, studioutte is a Milan-based multidisciplinary practice for architecture, interiors and collectible design. The name draws from the German *hütte*, meaning hut or shelter, a word that carries the spirit of the studio's approach.
Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola founded studioutte around a shared philosophy of warm minimalism: a pursuit of purity through vernacular forms, primitive essence, and poetic restraint. Furniture is conceived as small architectural objects. Their pieces are made from solid wood, raw metal, and occasional polyester lacquer, materials valued for the patina and imperfections that develop with time and use. Production is entirely handcrafted in collaboration with Italian artisans in Padova, Milan, and the wider Lombard region.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
