The story
The Stele Table Lamp L is a table lamp by Studioutte from the SOFT SOLID collection, the large variant of the Stele lighting family.
The lamp is built around a wide, rectangular shade in brushed steel, mounted on a central post that rises from a square base. The proportions favor horizontal mass over height. The shade's rectangular geometry echoes the architectural vocabulary of SOFT SOLID, where every element reads as a small building component. The brushed metallic finish catches diffuse light without glare, giving the surface texture at close range and weight from a distance.
Studioutte works with Italian craftsmen near Milan for its steel pieces, visiting the workshops to oversee finishing. The lamp is produced in a limited edition for Monde Singulier in brushed steel with a plexiglass diffuser.
Part of the Stele lighting family within SOFT SOLID, the Stele Table Lamp L extends the studio's approach to furniture as architectural object into the realm of light.
About Studioutte
Established in 2020, studioutte is a Milan-based multidisciplinary practice for architecture, interiors and collectible design. The name draws from the German *hütte*, meaning hut or shelter, a word that carries the spirit of the studio's approach.
Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola founded studioutte around a shared philosophy of warm minimalism: a pursuit of purity through vernacular forms, primitive essence, and poetic restraint. Furniture is conceived as small architectural objects. Their pieces are made from solid wood, raw metal, and occasional polyester lacquer, materials valued for the patina and imperfections that develop with time and use. Production is entirely handcrafted in collaboration with Italian artisans in Padova, Milan, and the wider Lombard region.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
