The story
This stunning two-tier coffee table is guaranteed to be the focus of attention when you entertain guests in your living room. Following the glamorous Italian Hollywood Regency look of other classic Willy Rizzo designs, this Flaminia model coffee table features a chrome-plated steel frame finished with brass edges, resulting in a beautiful and rich contrast. The combination of chrome, brass and grey smoked glass forms an architectural modern yet timeless inspiration. This piece has been fully restored and refinished, glass tops renewed, and is in great vintage condition.
About Willy Rizzo
Italian photographer and designer Willy Rizzo (1928-2013) made his name at Paris Match photographing celebrities, then began designing furniture in the 1960s. His coffee tables, bar tables and consoles, in brass, chrome, lacquer and travertine, reflect the glamour of the 1970s and were produced by his own company and by Cidue. Collectors look for signed pieces, especially the bar tables with integrated storage.
