This pair of Vivai Del Sud Italian bamboo night stands from the mid-century modern French Riviera period are bursting with nostalgia. A honey colored bamboo structure, with a smoked mirror top, three drawers newly reupholstered with a nice vibrant Missoni fabric, Ozan reference. They would feel right at home in a stylish vacation house by the water. The soothing design and naturalistic materials will promote tranquillity and asian inspired Zen in any space, while the strong vintage look will lend the room a curated feel. Vivai Del Sud was a renowned brand in Roma in the 1960s and 1970s, inspired by Gabriella Crespi, bringing the Mediterranean bamboo and rattan style to the Italian high society. A rare find, highly decorative, with a beautiful patina, found in very good vintage condition. They could also serve as end tables and would be ideal for airy spaces in need of some mid-century character.
