The story

Unique dining table from the early days of Maison Jansen, in a pure Regence style, made of solid carved patinated mahogany. The beautiful painted structure has developed a stunning beige patina over time, revealing the careful craftsmanship at every turn. The table features three extension parts, measuring 22.8 - 22.4 - 18.9 inches each. Without extension, the table is 71.25 inches wide, and at full width is 132.3 inches. A truly unique piece, built to last for centuries.

About Maison Jansen

Maison Jansen was founded in Paris in 1880 by the Dutch-born Jean-Henri Jansen and became one of the most influential decorating houses of the twentieth century. Under Stéphane Boudin it worked for royal households and notably advised on the restoration of the White House under Jacqueline Kennedy. Its furniture, in a refined neoclassical taste, includes brass palm tree lamps and lacquered pieces. Collectors look for stamped or documented Jansen furniture.
