The story

This mid-century pair of bedside tables feels solide and architectural, with straight lines and geometric patterns. Made from solid oak by De Coene Frères in Belgium in the late 1970s, each table features a graphic carved door with onle large shelf as storage inside. Of high-quality material, these tables have been fully restored and cleaned, and maintained in very good vintage condition.

About De Coene Frères

De Coene Frères was a furniture workshop founded in Kortrijk, Belgium, by the De Coene brothers after the First World War. It grew into one of the country's most important makers, producing Art Deco furniture in the interwar years and modernist pieces after the Second World War, with a strong culture of fine veneers and solid construction. Collectors look for signed or labelled pieces, particularly Art Deco cabinets and seating in rich exotic woods.
