The story
The Scott Sofa 02 is the second configuration in Studio Akademos' Scott seating programme, a companion piece to the Scott Sofa 01 that extends the Café Society design language into a different spatial register. Where the 01 anchors a principal salon arrangement, the 02 is calibrated for alternative positions within the same interior vocabulary.
Studio Akademos, the Paris AD 100 interior design studio, designed the Scott family as a coherent seating programme rather than a single showpiece. The 1970s glamour sofa aesthetic that defines Collection 01 here takes on a slightly adjusted character: same DNA, different configuration and scale, suited to a different relationship with space.
Named for the Café Society figure who moved effortlessly between rooms and contexts, Scott carries adaptability through both iterations. The studio's founding question has the same answer for both sofas: this is a room where people want to stay.

About Studio Akademos
Studio Akademos is a Paris interior design and furniture studio, founded in 2021. Within three years of opening, it joined the AD 100 (Architectural Digest's annual list of the world's leading designers), a recognition that reflects both the quality of its residential interiors and the precision of its furniture editions.
The studio builds its aesthetic from three distinct historical sources: the opulent sociability of Café Society at its interwar peak, the avant-garde formal confidence of European design in the 1970s, and the functional precision that contemporary domestic life demands. The combination is not decorative nostalgia. Each source era is studied at depth before a project begins, and every decision, from proportion to material to surface finish, must be traceable back to that foundation. Material selection is part of the same rigour: each surface is chosen for what it contributes to the narrative the piece is meant to carry.
