The story
The Gloria Box is a collector's decorative object from Studio Akademos' Collection 01, the Paris AD 100 studio's inaugural furniture and objects release. Named for the Old Hollywood radiance the name invokes, Gloria is built on the conviction that a considered interior has no room for incidental objects.
Studio Akademos approaches decorative pieces with the same rigour applied to larger furniture: every element must justify its presence through narrative. The Gloria Box, placed on a shelf, a console, or a side table, does not simply occupy space. It holds it. It declares the taste of whoever chose it.
This is the Café Society interior design tradition at its most distilled: glamorous, precise, and purposeful in the fullest sense. The studio, founded in Paris in 2021 and recognized by Architectural Digest's AD 100, has built its practice on the premise that luxury French decorative objects must tell a story that outlasts the initial impression.

About Studio Akademos
Studio Akademos is a Paris interior design and furniture studio, founded in 2021. Within three years of opening, it joined the AD 100 (Architectural Digest's annual list of the world's leading designers), a recognition that reflects both the quality of its residential interiors and the precision of its furniture editions.
The studio builds its aesthetic from three distinct historical sources: the opulent sociability of Café Society at its interwar peak, the avant-garde formal confidence of European design in the 1970s, and the functional precision that contemporary domestic life demands. The combination is not decorative nostalgia. Each source era is studied at depth before a project begins, and every decision, from proportion to material to surface finish, must be traceable back to that foundation. Material selection is part of the same rigour: each surface is chosen for what it contributes to the narrative the piece is meant to carry.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
