The story
The Cabin View Double Mirror (M) is a wall mirror by Rudy Guénaire, from the Croisière collection, distinguished from the simple Cabin View by its two-material frame.
Its outer form is an elongated oval in off-white lacquer with smoothly rounded proportions. Inside that outer frame, a second oval in rich brown varnished wood traces a close contour around the central glass. The two materials meet cleanly, the lacquer's smooth surface against the wood's visible grain and deeper tone. The reflective surface within is glass.
The outer frame is lacquered in off-white with a polished finish. The inner frame is brown varnished wood with natural grain texture, its color shifting the visual weight inward. The combination reads in a mid-century register, material layering as formal statement.
The Double Mirror M shares the porthole reference of the broader Cabin View series in the Croisière collection. Rudy Guénaire uses the double frame to distinguish this version from the single-material Cabin View, introducing material dialogue within the same oval silhouette.
About Rudy Guénaire

Rudy Guénaire draws everything by hand. No 3D software, no renderings, just pencil on paper, from floor plans to furniture to napkin holders. It is the most legible fact about how he works, and it shapes what his spaces feel like: particular, considered, resistant to the generic.
He came to design sideways. A graduate of HEC, he co-founded PNY (Paris New York) in 2012 as a restaurateur, and it was through building out successive PNY locations across Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, and Bordeaux that he discovered a talent for interior design. Working alongside architects CUT and Bernard Dubois sharpened that instinct further. In 2021, he formalized the practice as Studio Night Flight, a name taken from Saint-Exupéry.
