TROCADÉRO Side Table

The Trocadéro Side Table is a compact piece by Marika Dru, part of the Trocadéro collection produced by Atelier MKD.

Its circular top rests on a single central pillar that transitions into a faceted, octagonal foot. This geometric resolution at the base, where a round form becomes angular, is the defining detail: a considered shift in language that rewards close attention. The proportions are compact and upright, suited to placement beside a chair or sofa without competing with surrounding furniture.

Turned from dark reddish-brown wood and finished with a polish that brings out the depth of the grain, the piece holds its character through material quality rather than scale. The warm, dense tones align with the Trocadéro collection's use of dark wood as its primary formal expression.

Within Marika Dru's Trocadéro series, the side table demonstrates how the collection's architectural sensibility extends to smaller pieces, each detail resolved with the same attention given to the dining table or bench.
