TROCADÉRO Gallery Table

The Trocadéro Gallery Table is a long-format piece by Marika Dru, designed within her Trocadéro collection at Atelier MKD.

A rectangular top of considerable length rests on a base of sculptural complexity. The hourglass curve of the support, wider at both its connection point to the tabletop and at its plinth, draws the eye downward, turning the underside of the table into part of the composition. The plinth itself, solid and rectangular, grounds the piece while contrasting with the sinuous form above it.

The lacquered dark wood finish heightens the contrast between smooth, reflective surfaces and the sculptural articulations of the base. The deep brown tones carry a visual weight that suits open rooms, gallery spaces, or large residential interiors.

Within the Trocadéro collection, the Gallery Table extends Marika Dru's architectural furniture language into formats that activate larger spaces, each volume considered as much for its visual impact at a distance as for its materiality up close.
