TROCADÉRO Dining Table

The Trocadéro Dining Table is a piece of substantial presence by Marika Dru, the primary statement piece of her Trocadéro collection at Atelier MKD.

A thick rectangular top is supported by two curved trestle-style legs, each cut from the same dense dark hardwood as the surface. The trestle form, referencing architectural timber joinery, gives the table a structural clarity that works in dialogue with the Trocadéro collection's broader interest in weight and proportion. The elongated proportions of the top create a horizontal emphasis suited to generous dining configurations.

The depth of the dark brown wood, polished to reveal the grain's natural variation, anchors the piece visually. The robust volume and material warmth place this table in the tradition of furniture designed for rooms built around it.

As the central piece in the Trocadéro series, this dining table embodies Marika Dru's practice of designing furniture with architectural conviction, where mass and material quality speak before function is considered.
