The Winston Server is a sideboard-format storage piece from Kevin Frankental's Lemon Collection.
The word "server" places it within a long furniture lineage: the sideboard, the credenza, the buffet, forms designed for display and access as much as for storage. These are pieces that inhabit the perimeter of a room and frame its use. Frankental's process involves research into exactly this kind of historical furniture, finding the essential logic of a form and rebuilding it without the ornamental conventions of its era.
The Winston Server is a contemporary restatement of a classical serving form, stripped to its essentials and rebuilt with the material sensibility that defines Lemon's output.
For a room that wants both storage and presence, the Winston Server carries the quiet confidence of something that has already found its form.

Lemon's foundation is shaped by the vision of Creative Director Kevin Frankental. With a love for design history, Kevin draws inspiration from historic design, film and art, focusing on uncovering what makes a piece truly timeless.
"There's often a tendency to romanticize the past, which I believe drives today's nostalgia", he explains. "While not everything was better before, certain classics stand the test of time and resonate across generations."
In a world increasingly marked by a sense of sameness in fashion, beauty, and design, Lemon turns away from trends. "We have no interest in looking at what's new for inspiration; doing so often results in just another version of something that already exists", Kevin reflects.
Lemon's creative process involves delving into archives: historical design, film, art, fashion, or anything that sparks inspiration. Sometimes, it's as simple as an old, beautiful photograph. From these influences, Lemon creates pieces that are a contemporary nod to the past. Each item is thoughtfully designed to be useful and needed, often inspired by objects they would love to own but cannot find elsewhere.
The result is elegantly simple pieces designed for everyday use and admiration. Each creation evokes nostalgia and romance while staying true to traditional craftsmanship, sitting naturally in contemporary spaces.
