The Douro Credenza is a solid oak sideboard by Project 213A, part of the Project 213A Collection.
Four doors span the full width of the piece. On the two outer doors, the handles are carved in layered geometric shapes, each one a stacked, interlocking form that sits flush with the door face and functions as the sole surface ornament. The inner two doors share a quieter, unadorned profile. The piece maintains a low horizontal line, resting on two thick rectangular legs that ground it without interrupting the credenza's lateral span. The oak is light in tone with a clear, even grain.
Hand crafted in Northern Portugal, the Douro Credenza is available with bespoke dimensions and custom internal shelving on request. The same carved handle vocabulary connects it to the Douro Cabinet and Douro Bedside Table within the Project 213A Collection.
Each piece is produced in Project 213A's in-house wood workshops by skilled artisans from Northern Portugal.

About
Project 213A
Project 213A is a Portuguese design house founded in 2021 by Jurgita Dileviciute, Theresa Marx, and Clement Deboeuf. The name comes from a London address where each founder lived at separate points during their studies, a shared geography that preceded their professional collaboration.
The idea for the studio took shape during the 2020 lockdown, when the three founders combined their professional backgrounds to build something together. Project 213A has operated from in-house ceramic and wood workshops in Northern Portugal since its launch, working alongside skilled local artisans whose traditional craftsmanship shapes every piece in the catalog.
The studio's design philosophy is built around durability over trend. Each object is made to last decades, not to fit a particular season's aesthetic. Collections carry the names of Portuguese cities and regions, a practice that grounds the work in the territory and the communities whose making traditions the brand draws from.
The range spans handcrafted ceramics and handmade wooden furniture, both produced locally with artisan techniques developed over generations in Northern Portugal. This focus on Portuguese craftsmanship and material integrity distinguishes Project 213A within the contemporary European design studio landscape.
Pieces by Project 213A are available on Monde Singulier as part of the collectible design catalog.
