The story
The form is a dome, low and self-contained, set on a narrow cylindrical foot. Two circular apertures pierce the lower sides symmetrically, each the same diameter, each positioned to let the interior light escape outward in two distinct directions. The surface is chamotte: off-white, matte, with a slightly sandy grain that retains traces of the hand. A narrow opening at the crown takes the E27 bulb.
Johanna de Clisson works with a constrained formal vocabulary: circle, half-circle, cylinder. Objet 24 uses all three. The dome is the half-circle; the foot is the cylinder; the portholes are the circles. The closed surface makes the openings legible as decisions rather than incidentals. Where most lamps diffuse light through a shade, Objet 24 directs it through two apertures in a mass.

About Johanna de Clisson
Artistic director, designer and ceramist, Johanna de Clisson is a complete artist. A graduate of ENSAD (National School of Decorative Arts), she began by practicing photography, working with a large-format view camera on still life.
In 2021, she created her label Hiromi, meaning “free-spirited beauty” in Japanese, a research studio specialized in design and ceramics. Her creations blend rough textured chamotte earthenware and sensual touch cracked enamel she sometimes associates with metal or wood in her immaculate studio-laboratory in the north of Paris.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
