The story
Ida is the most intimate of the three Stellar lamps. A slender vertical walnut element, rounded at the top and pierced by a circular hole, rises from a half-spherical ceramic bowl, crackle-glazed and off-white. The bowl cradles the wooden piece as much as the piece anchors the bowl. The form reads as a single gesture, though the two materials are distinct.
At Hiromi, the Stellar collection develops from one formal constraint: the circle. Ida applies it most literally, the wooden element as a vertical line and the ceramic as the hemisphere below it. Scaled for intimate settings: a reading corner, a bedroom wall, a narrow corridor, where a spherical diffuser alone would be too much.

About Johanna de Clisson
Artistic director, designer and ceramist, Johanna de Clisson is a complete artist. A graduate of ENSAD (National School of Decorative Arts), she began by practicing photography, working with a large-format view camera on still life.
In 2021, she created her label Hiromi, meaning “free-spirited beauty” in Japanese, a research studio specialized in design and ceramics. Her creations blend rough textured chamotte earthenware and sensual touch cracked enamel she sometimes associates with metal or wood in her immaculate studio-laboratory in the north of Paris.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
