The story
The L version of Objet 6 reads at architectural scale. Where the M is compact and intimate, this one stakes a claim on the room. The oval body in chamotte earthenware is taller and more monumental, its arched cut-out near the base more pronounced, a structural gesture that lifts the form and introduces shadow underneath. At the top, a narrow curved opening.
Johanna de Clisson works around three imposed shapes: circle, half-circle, cylinder. Objet 6 L is the half-circle and the oval in dialogue. The chamotte surface carries its characteristic grain, off-white with flecks of fired clay, the result of a material chosen for texture over finish.
Works well on a floor, a pedestal, or a high shelf where vertical scale reads. Handmade in Paris from chamotte earthenware. Part of the Les Objets series. Also available in M.
About Johanna de Clisson
Artistic director, designer and ceramist, Johanna de Clisson is a complete artist. A graduate of ENSAD (National School of Decorative Arts), she began by practicing photography, working with a large-format view camera on still life.
In 2021, she created her label Hiromi, meaning “free-spirited beauty” in Japanese, a research studio specialized in design and ceramics. Her creations blend rough textured chamotte earthenware and sensual touch cracked enamel she sometimes associates with metal or wood in her immaculate studio-laboratory in the north of Paris.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order.
