Kami
The Kami collection was born from a "carte blanche" given by Monde Singulier to Studio Le Cann. Inspired by memories of travels to Japan, the duo embraced a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, exclusively produced in France. The interplay of materials and assemblies merges Japanese influences with those of the great designers of the 1930s, a familiar territory for Le Cann. The roughness of sandblasted pine and parchment-like paper contrasts with the gloss of lacquer, blending into classic lines. The collection presents a minimalist staging, where the codes of ancestral craftsmanship are reinterpreted to serve a refined aesthetic.
