The story
The Arcade Stool is a compact round seat with a fabric-upholstered top and a cylindrical solid wood base. Its proportions sit closer to an accent object than a purely functional piece.
The base is built from warm medium-brown wood, shaped as a cylinder and defined by vertical arched cutouts that repeat around its circumference. These cutouts, the defining motif of the Arcade collection, give the structure visual openness without thinning the material. The top is upholstered in a light beige fabric with a slightly textured surface, fitted flush against the wood.
The Arcade collection was designed by Yellen Boisseau, a Paris and Barcelona-based interior architect trained at the Penninghen school. Presented at Paris Design Week Factory 2025, the collection applies the same architectural vocabulary across all its pieces: stone, natural wood, and the recurring arched form that runs through each design. The stool carries that vocabulary in a compact, placement-flexible format.

About Yellen Boisseau
Yellen Boisseau graduated from the Penninghen School of Interior Architecture in Paris in 2021. She has since maintained a practice split between Paris and Barcelona, taking residential commissions in high-end interiors while developing furniture and objects in parallel.
At Penninghen, she trained under a programme that treats interior architecture as fundamentally spatial. That discipline runs through her furniture work. A chair or table is resolved the way a room is resolved: from the structural logic outward, with material choice following function rather than preceding it.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
