About Trix & Robert Haussmann
Trix (born 1933) and Robert Haussmann (born 1931) are Swiss architects and designers based in Zurich, where they founded the Allgemeine Entwurfsanstalt in 1967. Their Lehrstücke series explored illusion, trompe-l'oeil and the mirroring of architectural forms in furniture. Their work anticipated postmodernism in design. Collectors seek their furniture and objects for their intellectual play and precise execution.
