The story
Grace your home with the true elegance of this coffee table or large end table signed and stamped by Roger and Robert Thibier in the 1960s. Glittering in an antiqued gold gilt finish, this original two-tier iron craft coffee table adds a glam twist which makes a gracious compliment to both traditional and modern spaces. A small table, size W40 x D40 x H25 centimeters, is iron attached to the large one, and its size makes it ideal as a decorative and functional piece. The golden leaf patina is truly beautiful, and is found in very good vintage condition.
About Roger Thibier
French designer active in the 1960s known for furniture and lighting in wrought iron, often gilt. His nesting tables, side tables and lamps combine fine metal structures with glass or stone tops, in a decorative, neoclassically inspired style typical of French taste of the period. Collectors appreciate the quality of the ironwork and the graceful, light proportions of these pieces.
