About Roger Landault
French designer Roger Landault worked in the 1950s, producing furniture that expresses the practical modernism of postwar France. His chairs, tables and storage pieces combine wood with metal and new materials, some produced by makers such as Sentou. Collectors look for pieces with original surfaces and hardware, including sideboards and seating, which represent the modest, well-built furniture of the reconstruction years.
