About Robert Charroy
French designer active in the 1950s, known for furniture produced by the Paris manufacturer Mobilor. His desks and wall desks combine solid oak with metal structures in a sober, functional style characteristic of French postwar reconstruction. Collectors appreciate these pieces for their construction, their honest use of materials and their proximity to the work of better known contemporaries of the period.
