Rare bureau d’architecte par Pierre Jeanneret pour Chandigarh, le modèle crée en 1961.
Pierre JEANNERET (1896-1967) & A. R. PRABHAWALKAR (1923-1974) Bureau, circa 1960, à plateau rectangulaire en teck, disposé sur une structure de section carré en métal laqué jaune formant un piètement quadripode joint par une entretoise en T, aménagé d’un caisson à trois compartiments en partie gauche

About Pierre Jeanneret
Swiss architect and designer (1896-1967), cousin and longtime partner of Le Corbusier, with whom he developed the tubular steel furniture of the late 1920s with Charlotte Perriand. From 1951 he spent fifteen years in Chandigarh, India, designing buildings and furniture for the new capital in teak, rosewood and cane. Collectors seek authentic Chandigarh pieces with administrative markings and good provenance.
