About Osvaldo Borsani
Italian architect and designer (1911-1985) who in 1953 founded Tecno with his twin brother Fulgenzio, building on the family workshop in Varedo. His P40 lounge chair of 1954 and D70 sofa are masterpieces of mechanical ingenuity, with adjustable and folding parts. Earlier, he designed luxurious interiors in fine woods with artists such as Lucio Fontana. Collectors seek early Tecno pieces and documented commissions.
