About Móveis Gerdau
Móveis Gerdau was a Brazilian furniture manufacturer based in Porto Alegre, connected to the Gerdau industrial family. Its production spans bentwood and cane seating of the 1930s and later modernist pieces in teak and native woods from the 1950s and 1960s, including desks, chairs and sofas. It is a notable name in the history of industrial furniture in Brazil. Collectors look for well preserved pieces in original wood and cane.
