The story
The Wood Dining Table is an oak dining table from the Mise en Scène collection by Tatjana von Stein, working with the material in its most legible form: solid, warm, and built to last.
Oak is the collection's anchor material for larger table forms, present in the dining table's structure and surface with an absence of lacquer or applied finish that makes the grain readable at close range. The table reads as a counterpoint to the glass and lacquer pieces that share the Mise en Scène catalog, confirming that the collection's range moves between transparency and mass.
Tatjana von Stein designed the Mise en Scène collection for interiors that hold more than one material at once. The Wood Dining Table earns its place at the center of a room by letting the oak speak without mediation.
Made-to-order with French artisans at Aurige, each table is numbered, signed, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
About Tatjana von Stein
Tatjana von Stein works from London as a collectible furniture designer, bringing a French-German perspective to a practice that moves between interior architecture and sculptural form.
Her approach centers on the psychology of space: the premise that furniture shapes how people feel in a room as much as it furnishes it. Von Stein established her reputation as co-founder of Sella Concept in 2016, an interior architecture practice that sharpened her understanding of how objects and enclosure interact. In 2023 she founded her eponymous studio, turning that accumulated thinking toward made-to-order collectible furniture, pieces numbered and signed, each delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request.
