The story
The RC03 Console is a minimalist console table from the Johan Viladrich Collection, designed by Johan Viladrich.
A clear glass rectangular top rests on two cylindrical legs in brushed silver-grey metal. Small circular metallic spacers at the contact points between glass and metal are left visible, functioning as precise technical details rather than concealed fixings. The two elements of the piece, glass and metal cylinder, are reduced to their simplest expression.
The top is flat glass and the legs are fabricated from brushed aluminium in a consistent silver-grey finish. The contrast between the transparency of the glass and the matte solidity of the metal structures the visual logic of the piece.
The RC03 Console belongs to the Johan Viladrich Collection and demonstrates Viladrich's approach to furniture as an assembly of elemental forms: a plane, a cylinder, a fixing.
About Studio Johan Viladrich
Johan Viladrich works from his studio in Montpellier, France, designing furniture and spatial structures that treat metal as a primary formal language. His practice centers on brushed aluminium and steel, materials he approaches not for their industrial connotations but for their capacity to hold geometric precision at scale.
Viladrich's process is architectural in its logic: each piece is built from flat planes, cylindrical volumes, and intersecting sections, assembled with visible fasteners the design does not conceal. The construction method reads as surface texture rather than something to be hidden. This directness gives his work a durability of intent that resists trends in contemporary French furniture design.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order.
