The story
The Peniche Coffee Table is a circular low table by Project 213A, part of the Project 213A Collection.
Its round top sits close to the floor on three tapered legs that splay outward from a central point, each fitting into a notched connection just below the rim. The joinery is exposed and deliberate: the connections read clearly at the table's edge, giving the piece a structural honesty uncommon in tables at this scale. The oak is light in tone, warm, with a subtle grain that shifts slightly from piece to piece.
Hand crafted in solid oak by artisans in Northern Portugal, the Peniche Coffee Table reflects Project 213A's approach to traditional wood joinery treated as visible design detail rather than hidden engineering.
The table belongs to the Project 213A Collection, which draws its naming from Portuguese cities and regions, each piece tied to a place in the country's craft heritage.
About Project 213A
Project 213A is a Portuguese design house founded in 2021 by Jurgita Dileviciute, Theresa Marx, and Clement Deboeuf. The name comes from a London address where each founder lived at separate points during their studies, a shared geography that preceded their professional collaboration.
The idea for the studio took shape during the 2020 lockdown, when the three founders combined their professional backgrounds to build something together. Project 213A has operated from in-house ceramic and wood workshops in Northern Portugal since its launch, working alongside skilled local artisans whose traditional craftsmanship shapes every piece in the catalog.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
