The story
The Douro Bedside Table Large is a solid oak bedside table by Project 213A, part of the Project 213A Collection.
Two drawers occupy the full front face of the piece. The handles are not conventional pulls: a single pair of abstract, interlocking wooden forms spans both drawers, carved to create a recessed geometric pattern across the facade. The base is composed of two chunky block legs set inward from the corners, giving the compact rectangular body an elevated appearance. The oak's natural tonal variations shift subtly from drawer front to drawer front.
Hand crafted in Northern Portugal, the Douro Bedside Table Large is available in standard dimensions with bespoke sizing on request. The same carved handle and leg language appears across the Douro range in the Project 213A Collection, connecting it to the Douro Credenza and Douro Cabinet.
Each piece is produced in Project 213A's in-house wood workshops by skilled artisans from Northern Portugal.
About Project 213A
Project 213A is a Portuguese design house founded in 2021 by Jurgita Dileviciute, Theresa Marx, and Clement Deboeuf. The name comes from a London address where each founder lived at separate points during their studies, a shared geography that preceded their professional collaboration.
The idea for the studio took shape during the 2020 lockdown, when the three founders combined their professional backgrounds to build something together. Project 213A has operated from in-house ceramic and wood workshops in Northern Portugal since its launch, working alongside skilled local artisans whose traditional craftsmanship shapes every piece in the catalog.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
