The story
The CAPTIVE Pendant Lamp is a slender vertical form in brushed silver-toned metal, suspended by a black and silver cable. Three circular elements run along one face of the rectangular body. The lowest houses a warm bulb, visible through a half-circle cut-out at the base. This intentional reveal of the light source is central to the piece's character.
The exposed construction follows NAGOT's practice of surfaces that show their own making. Part of the CAPTIVE collection by Mattia Meneghini, produced by Como region craftsmen.
