The story
The Black River coffee table is an interpretation of the vastness of the ocean, the rocky islands that emerge from it, and their reflections on the water.
Set within the rocks, the tabletop is made of blackened mirror-polished aluminum. We also wanted to showcase these stones, which we searched for and found in their natural state, as an ode to a raw and silent aesthetic.
They were then cast and crafted in blackened metal.
About Meteor Studio
Founded in Paris in 2020 by Leah Benarrosh and Florent Louineau, Meteor Studio is an interior architecture and design studio operating between Europe and the United States. Together they develop projects for private residences, boutiques, and high-end spaces, from Paris to New York, from Miami to Cyprus.
Leah Benarrosh graduated from the Penninghen school in Paris and developed her eye within prestigious houses such as Dior and the Alberto Pinto agency. Florent Louineau, also trained at Penninghen and the Beaux-Arts de Marseille, then at Christian Liagre where he developed a particular sensitivity to material, proportion, and precision of detail.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
