The story
The Funki Lounge Table Rectangular is a low brushed aluminium coffee table from the Louise Roe Collection, designed for lounge settings where material and proportion take precedence over ornament.
Its form is elongated and horizontal, a wide rectangular body with octagonal ends that introduce geometric variation at each extremity without breaking the overall linearity. The surface is flat and uninterrupted, the octagonal ends meeting the sides in clean, precise transitions. The profile is low, consistent with furniture scaled for lounge environments.
Brushed silver-toned aluminium is the sole material throughout, the same directional finish used across the Funki series. Louise Roe uses this surface treatment to unify the family: a fine texture that catches light uniformly without becoming reflective.
The Funki Lounge Table Rectangular is part of the Funki family within the Louise Roe Collection, which includes the Funki Bench, Funki Stool 02, and Funki Pot. The octagonal ends are the formal link that runs through all pieces in the series.
About Louise Roe
Louise Roe is a Copenhagen-based designer whose practice spans vessels, ceramics, lighting, and furniture. Founded in 2010, the studio draws on the material clarity of Danish design while incorporating the production rigour Roe developed during her training in fashion and concept development.
That background shapes a distinctive method. Roe approaches each piece as she once approached garments: tracing it from sketch to finished form, managing the full production arc rather than delegating it. She works in close partnership with skilled independent craftspeople across Europe, artisans who have refined their disciplines across generations. Materials are chosen for honesty. Glass, ceramic, textile, stone, and oak appear throughout her collections as structural choices rather than decorative ones.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
