The story
The Thing 3 Ottoman Pill in Large is a hand-stitched ottoman from the Konekt Collection, its elongated pill shape combining a smooth white upholstered top with a dense horsehair fringe base.
A slender dark metal band separates the upholstered surface from the fringe below, marking the boundary between refined textile and raw fiber. The pill form sits low, its horizontal silhouette extending across a room without asserting height, suited to anchoring a seating arrangement without competing with it.
Natural horsehair forms the lower section, its beige tone and coarse texture reading directly against the smooth fabric above. The band at the junction carries the metallic accent that links the ottoman to the broader vocabulary of the Konekt Collection, where brass and bronze details thread through both the furniture and lighting ranges.
Made by hand in Pennsylvania by Helena and Natasha Sultan, the Thing 3 Ottoman Pill Large is part of the Thing 3 series, available in round, oval, pill, and custom shapes.
About Konekt
Konekt is a sculptural furniture and lighting studio based in Pennsylvania, led by mother-daughter team Helena and Natasha Sultan. Their practice starts from material: its physical properties, its craft histories, and what happens when unexpected materials are brought together with traditional ones.
Helena and Natasha produce handcrafted furniture and lighting that pairs contrasting qualities in a single object. Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
