The story
The Silo Console Table is a piece from the Konekt Collection by Helena and Natasha Sultan, combining dark wood and antiqued bronze in a format designed for entryways and statement walls.
The top stretches long and low, its rounded corners softening what could otherwise read as a stern silhouette. Two circular metal inlays, placed symmetrically along the surface, echo the warm bronze tone of the cylindrical base supports below. Those thick, column-like legs give the console genuine solidity without visual bulk.
The tabletop is made from ash with a dark finish; the inlays and the bases are cast in bronze with a blackened or antiqued patina. This pairing of treated wood and aged metal recurs throughout the Konekt Silo Collection, where the contrast between organic warmth and industrial weight defines the series.
Each piece is made by hand in Pennsylvania, consistent with the Konekt studio's practice of pairing traditional craft with unexpected material combinations.
About Konekt
Konekt is a sculptural furniture and lighting studio based in Pennsylvania, led by mother-daughter team Helena and Natasha Sultan. Their practice starts from material: its physical properties, its craft histories, and what happens when unexpected materials are brought together with traditional ones.
Helena and Natasha produce handcrafted furniture and lighting that pairs contrasting qualities in a single object. Strength and fragility, solidity and fluidity, refinement and play: these are not tensions the work resolves, but tensions the work is made of. Each piece carries that balance in its surface, its form, and its finish.
