The story
The Rib Table Lamp Ellipse - Small is part of the Konekt Collection, designed by Helena and Natasha Sultan at their Pennsylvania studio. The shade is a horizontal, elongated oval in opal glass, positioned to spread light laterally. Dark bronze metal ribs run vertically along the shade, framing the glass in an open cage structure. A slender dark bronze stem connects the shade to the cylindrical base below.
The base incorporates a reddish-brown leather band near its midpoint and a small control knob in matching material, both applied by hand at the Konekt studio. The leather detail softens the otherwise metal and glass object and ties the base to the warmer tones of the opal light. The lamp's horizontal orientation makes it suited for placement on a desk, bedside table, or console.
Part of the Rib series from the Konekt Collection, the lamp is one of several lighting formats that Helena and Natasha Sultan developed around opal glass and dark bronze ribbed metalwork. The series is also available as a pendant, sconce, and floor lamp.

Konekt is a sculptural furniture and lighting studio based in Pennsylvania, led by mother-daughter team Helena and Natasha Sultan. Their practice starts from material: its physical properties, its craft histories, and what happens when unexpected materials are brought together with traditional ones.
Helena and Natasha produce handcrafted furniture and lighting that pairs contrasting qualities in a single object. Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
