The story
The Rib Pendant in Large Sphere is a pendant light from the Konekt Collection by Helena and Natasha Sultan, built around a frosted glass globe suspended from a slender satin brass rod.
The sphere reads as clean and balanced from every angle. Thin horizontal and vertical metal ribs trace the globe's circumference, dividing the surface into a subtle geometric lattice without obscuring the diffused glow of the glass. At the base of the pendant, a small cylindrical brass finial provides a precise visual termination.
The glass globe is mouth-blown in Italy by specialist artisans, producing a frosted diffuser that scatters light evenly and softens the brass frame. The ribs and hardware are finished in satin brass. An optional hand-wrapped leather or suede sleeve on the finial adds material contrast without disrupting the pendant's restrained profile.
Part of the Konekt Collection's Rib series, the pendant is designed to work alone as a focal point or in grouped arrangements. It is also available as a flush mount ceiling fixture and a wall sconce.
About Konekt
Konekt is a sculptural furniture and lighting studio based in Pennsylvania, led by mother-daughter team Helena and Natasha Sultan. Their practice starts from material: its physical properties, its craft histories, and what happens when unexpected materials are brought together with traditional ones.
Helena and Natasha produce handcrafted furniture and lighting that pairs contrasting qualities in a single object. Strength and fragility, solidity and fluidity, refinement and play: these are not tensions the work resolves, but tensions the work is made of. Each piece carries that balance in its surface, its form, and its finish.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
