The story
The Rib Pendant Capsule is an Italian-blown glass pendant light from the Konekt Collection, its elongated form suspended from a slender dark rod and banded by dark bronze metal straps.
The glass shade is blown in Italy, producing a capsule of opal glass that distributes light evenly from a warm internal source. Dark bronze straps section the capsule at regular intervals, their vertical rhythm turning a functional structure into a compositional one. A cylindrical brass finial at the base, available with optional hand-wrapped leather or suede, draws the form to a considered close.
The pendant can be specified with the finial unadorned or finished in leather, a choice that shifts the piece from minimal to textile-inflected without changing its essential character. The Rib Pendant Capsule works as a single focal point or in clustered arrangements across multiple drop heights.

About Konekt
Konekt is a sculptural furniture and lighting studio based in Pennsylvania, led by mother-daughter team Helena and Natasha Sultan. Their practice starts from material: its physical properties, its craft histories, and what happens when unexpected materials are brought together with traditional ones.
Helena and Natasha produce handcrafted furniture and lighting that pairs contrasting qualities in a single object. Strength and fragility, solidity and fluidity, refinement and play: these are not tensions the work resolves, but tensions the work is made of. Each piece carries that balance in its surface, its form, and its finish.
Delivery
Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
