The story
The Y. Yu Dining Table is a monolithic dining table in natural travertine stone, designed by Kelly Boukobza for her Y. collection.
A thick slab tabletop, its short ends gently rounded, rests on two rectangular stone bases of precise, austere geometry. The horizontal proportions are generous without being imposing, and the natural veining of the travertine moves across the surface in warm, earthy tones that shift with the light. No ornamental detail interrupts the mass: form and material carry the object entirely.
The travertine used throughout the Yu holds the tactile directness that defines the Y. collection. Each piece carries the natural striations of the stone deposit, distinct from the next. The weight of the material is balanced by the clean geometry of the two slab bases, which bring a measured precision to what could otherwise read as pure brute mass.
The Yu Dining Table belongs to the Y. collection, Kelly Boukobza's first furniture collection and an expression of her Modern Art Deco approach: volumes in tension, raw materials worked with exacting finish. The collection is available on Monde Singulier.
About Kelly Boukobza
Kelly Boukobza is the founder of KY Architecture, a Paris-based interior architecture studio she established in 2012. After studying architecture and working alongside architect Isabelle Stanislas for five years, she launched her own studio with a style she calls Modern Art Deco.
Her references are the French Decorative Arts of the 1950s: Charlotte Perriand, Jeanneret, Serge Mouille, Le Corbusier. She works them against raw materials and the restraint of contemporary minimalism. Her interiors are structured yet lively, built around sober tones and refined atmospheres adapted to how her clients live.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
