The story
The Y Ivy Sofa is a three-section modular sofa in cream bouclette, sitting on a recessed natural wood plinth. Each section carries two back cushions and a deep seat with rounded edges throughout. The plinth base is set back from the perimeter of the upholstery, giving the sofa a low-profile appearance at floor level: the mass of the form appears to float.
The modular configuration allows different arrangements. Kelly Boukobza designed the Y. collection with flexibility built in, volumes organized around collision and combination rather than fixed typologies.
The wood plinth introduces natural material contrast under the cream bouclette. This relationship reappears in the Y Ivy Armchair and Y Yeti Chair, where wood and textile are used in different proportions toward similar ends. Together, these pieces form the seating range of the Y. collection.

About Kelly Boukobza
Kelly Boukobza is the founder of KY Architecture, a Paris-based interior architecture studio she established in 2012. After studying architecture and working alongside architect Isabelle Stanislas for five years, she launched her own studio with a style she calls Modern Art Deco.
Her references are the French Decorative Arts of the 1950s: Charlotte Perriand, Jeanneret, Serge Mouille, Le Corbusier. She works them against raw materials and the restraint of contemporary minimalism. Her interiors are structured yet lively, built around sober tones and refined atmospheres adapted to how her clients live.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
