The story
The Y Ivy Asy Sofa is an asymmetric modular sofa system in off-white bouclette from Kelly Boukobza's Y. collection. Its sections combine rounded seat edges and integrated armrests upholstered in matching fabric, with a natural light wood trim running along the base of each module. Multiple rectangular pillows in the same bouclette complete the form.
The asymmetric configuration distinguishes this piece from the Y Ivy Sofa, which uses a symmetric three-module arrangement. Here, the volumes are distributed differently across the length of the sofa, producing a composition that reads as resolved asymmetry rather than an incomplete arrangement.
The light wood trim at the base of each section plays the same material role as the plinth and frame elements elsewhere in the Y. collection seating range: grounding the upholstered form in a natural material contrast. This detail also gives the sofa a clean, finished lower edge.

About Kelly Boukobza
Kelly Boukobza is the founder of KY Architecture, a Paris-based interior architecture studio she established in 2012. After studying architecture and working alongside architect Isabelle Stanislas for five years, she launched her own studio with a style she calls Modern Art Deco.
Her references are the French Decorative Arts of the 1950s: Charlotte Perriand, Jeanneret, Serge Mouille, Le Corbusier. She works them against raw materials and the restraint of contemporary minimalism. Her interiors are structured yet lively, built around sober tones and refined atmospheres adapted to how her clients live.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order.
