The story

The 17 Paravento from Drop 03 by Interni Venosta is a multi-panel room divider finished in rich brown wood veneer, with metallic frames and hinges connecting the articulated sections. Several panels incorporate reflective surfaces, while the faces carry abstract geometric patterns in dark brown, cream, and silver-grey. The composition is formal and warm, using the contrast between wood, metal, and reflected light to draw the eye across its surface.

Room dividers appear in both the Drop 01 and Drop 03 collections, reflecting Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran's sustained interest in pieces that define and subdivide interior space without enclosing it. The hinged, modular construction allows the 17 Paravento to be arranged in different configurations to suit the room.

Produced by Fabbri Services in Arezzo, Tuscany, the 17 Paravento is part of the Drop 03 collection and handcrafted entirely in Italy from noble materials.

About Interni Venosta
Interni Venosta

Interni Venosta was founded in 2024 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, the duo behind Dimorestudio and Dimoremilano. The brand name pays homage to Carla Venosta, the Italian designer who shaped Milanese interiors in the 1970s and 1980s, not as a revival of her work but as a citation of the culture she stood for: sobriety, material rigor, and modernist thought fused with classical Italian sensibility.

The design language draws from a narrow set of references: the Bauhaus movement, particularly the structural thinking of Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, and the minimalist American sculptors Donald Judd, Carl Andre, and Walter de Maria. Furniture stays within a limited palette of glass, brushed or black-lacquered stainless steel, walnut, lacquered wood, and leather. Within those constraints, the focus shifts entirely to proportion and finish.
