The story
The 08 Divano is a three-seater sofa from the Drop 02 collection by Interni Venosta, designed by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran.
Its construction is notable for the way it layers materials vertically. A warm earthy brown textile covers the cushioned backrests and falls as a skirted base, while a light wooden frame bridges the two zones, visible between the upper seating surface and the skirt below. Dark, curved armrests complete each end, their form a measured counterpoint to the linearity of the main body.
The piece reads as modular in character, each element distinct and identifiable. The wooden frame is structural and visible, not hidden, a deliberate choice that reflects Interni Venosta's approach to material honesty. The brown textile and dark armrests carry the warm restraint that defines the Drop 02 collection.
Part of a seating range that includes the 09 Poltrona armchair and the 08 Divano Centrale lounge chair, the 08 Divano is produced at Fabbri Services in Arezzo, Tuscany.
About Interni Venosta
Interni Venosta was founded in 2024 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, the duo behind Dimorestudio and Dimoremilano. The brand name pays homage to Carla Venosta, the Italian designer who shaped Milanese interiors in the 1970s and 1980s, not as a revival of her work but as a citation of the culture she stood for: sobriety, material rigor, and modernist thought fused with classical Italian sensibility.
The design language draws from a narrow set of references: the Bauhaus movement, particularly the structural thinking of Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, and the minimalist American sculptors Donald Judd, Carl Andre, and Walter de Maria. Furniture stays within a limited palette of glass, brushed or black-lacquered stainless steel, walnut, lacquered wood, and leather. Within those constraints, the focus shifts entirely to proportion and finish.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order. You have 5 days to accept and pay it (secure payment link or bank transfer), otherwise your order is cancelled and fully refunded.
