The story
The dining table from Drop 01 by Interni Venosta was part of the brand's debut 22-piece collection, launched at Milan Design Week 2024. Built from warm medium-brown wood, it presents a rectangular top with a slightly darker surface and a lighter edge, a subtle material contrast that repays close attention.
The most distinctive structural feature is the pair of thick end supports: solid wood panels with circular black mechanisms integrated at their centres, suggesting a collapsible leaf or storage element within the base. The form borrows from the functional honesty championed by Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, filtered through the Milanese interior culture of the 1970s that Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran have named as the spirit behind Interni Venosta.
Produced by Fabbri Services in Arezzo, Tuscany, this dining table is handcrafted entirely in Italy from noble materials.
About Interni Venosta
Interni Venosta was founded in 2024 by Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, the duo behind Dimorestudio and Dimoremilano. The brand name pays homage to Carla Venosta, the Italian designer who shaped Milanese interiors in the 1970s and 1980s, not as a revival of her work but as a citation of the culture she stood for: sobriety, material rigor, and modernist thought fused with classical Italian sensibility.
The design language draws from a narrow set of references: the Bauhaus movement, particularly the structural thinking of Marcel Breuer and Gerrit Rietveld, and the minimalist American sculptors Donald Judd, Carl Andre, and Walter de Maria. Furniture stays within a limited palette of glass, brushed or black-lacquered stainless steel, walnut, lacquered wood, and leather. Within those constraints, the focus shifts entirely to proportion and finish.

Every piece is packed and shipped under insurance, from the workshop to you. White glove delivery (unpacking, installation, packaging removal) is available on request. Delivery is not charged at checkout: we send you a quote within 24 business hours of your order.
